Welcome to ONNA - The Online Native Network Alliance!

The purpose of the Alliance is to bring together as many Native sites as possible. Together, Native Sites can help one another, promote their Events | Activities, and stay in touch with one another.

It all comes together via News Feeds, a Newsletter, continuously updated Fresh Content for your visitors, and best of all - it's FREE!

So, why join? How can the Alliance help you - your site?

The more people who get to know of an Event you are hosting, participating, or announcing, the greater the possibility of more people attending. If you have added new content to your site it is also a great way to get the word out, contests, auctions, and related.

You will not only be letting viewers know, but you will also be able to keep up with the other Alliance members. The Newsletter will announce all new members, any Events or Promotions they may have going, and any changes, which may have occurred to the main Alliance page.

As an ending note, the Alliance works for YOU, and your site(s), and all sites within the network.

Hi, Interested in seeing what ONNA can do for you? Why not Join ONNA and see how it may help boost your Website viewers

ONNA Terms and Regulations

We have divided our Rules, Regulations and Terms of service into Sections.

They are as following :

General ONNA Terms

First of all - Thank you for considering to join us at ONNA! Please Review these Rules before considering membership with ONNA. They are simple, yet protect all those within the Alliance. Be sure you agree with them, and that your Site is compatible with what is asked here.

1. Your site must pertain to Natives and their Culture. Optional ( One page out of your whole site may be considered, though depending on the depth of information it contains ).

<!--mospagebreak-->

2. The information presented on your site must be accurate. Example, Natives no longer live in Teepees, Hogans, etc., and neither do they speak like 'Tonto' or as in those old Cowboy movies . We try and keep sites that have as close to accurate information regarding Natives and Indigenous People. If Unsure, submit your site anyway, and you will recieve a friendly email regarding any sections of your site that may concern us.

3. All sites will be fully reviewed, please make sure all pages, links, etc. are in working order.

4. NO Sites of Explicit Nature, or which Promote Hate in any way will be accepted.

5. In the end, we reserve the right to accept or decline a submission after reviewing a site.

Sites will be monitored and checked regularly - Anyone found breaking the rules after acceptance, will be removed immediately.

Anyone caught spamming or misusing ONNA services will be removed immediately or put on ONNA Trial, where the future of your account is decided by other ONNa Members. [Back to the top]

Forum Use Rules

We welcome all members to come and regularly post in the ONNA forum.

The Forum is a great way to get advice, opinions and help from other webmasters and site owners. It is also a great way to brain storm new ideas and meet new people with similar interest.

ONNA tries its best to keep the forum free from all spam. There may be times when users might post spam, and we urge all members to report any spam that is found in ONNA forums to staff.

We will not tolerate spam on our forums. Members found Spamming, will have their account put into pending, until they can apologize or explain their actions.

As ONNA is a Community formed Alliance, it is not up to ONNA staff whether users are re-activated. Spammers will be put on trial within the boards, and all members will be allowed to vote whether the offending member is permitted to be re-activated.

So what is Spam?

To indiscriminately send unsolicited, unwanted, irrelevant, or inappropriate messages, especially commercial advertising in mass quantities. Anything Irrelevant to ONNA will be deleted and spammers will be warned, if repeated offences, Members account will be set to pending and Trial will begin.

Do not post your alerts in the forum unless you are asking for advice, opinions or it is a wanted ad, such as help needed etc. ONNA provides you with sufficient chances of Promoting your alerts, on other members sites via alerts and link, there is no neccesities to spam the boards as well.

Other types of Messages that will not be accepted at ONNA are:

  • Sexual related posts
  • Explicit posts
  • Harrassing posts
  • Descriminating posts
  • Racist Posts
  • White bashing / new age bashing posts
  • Useless senseless posts - All posts must have atleast one full sentence, which more than ten words.
  • Posts must have proper english, as much as possible. Try and keep net speak to a minimum.

If unsure, then contact one of our Staff for advice, or post your question in the forum.[Back to the top]

Alerts Use Rules

The Alerts Section is to provide you with the opportunity to make your Announcements to hundred of web site viewers, which will be shown in the Tickers and Codes on each member site within the Alliance.

Keep your Alerts specific and straight to the point - keeps the readers attention and interest.

Posting multiple versions of the same would be considered as spam, and will be removed - please do not abuse the system. These Alerts are here to benefit us all within the Alliance.

Make sure that you regularly come and delete any Alerts that are no longer eligible. Most alerts will be deleted after 30 days. (The only time your alert will be deleted before hand, is if you have violated our Alerts terms)

Correct Use of the alliance will make your site more profitable and will bring more viewers to your site.

Incorrect use, will destroy that opportunity. [Back to the top]

Coding Rules and Terms

The codes provided are for you and your viewers to view all announcements of those within the Alliance, thus providing a way to promote events, activities, contests, etc. for everyone to see.

Please place the coding of your choice in a visible section of your page, preferably Home Page, or where you may place your Announcements or News.

It is important it be in an area where it can be viewed and easily read - for if it isn't, wouldn't that do away with what the code does and stands for?

We appreciate your cooperation in this! To facilitate this, certain codes can be manipulated to fit the look and feel of your site.

If you experience any problems with your code, please contact ONNA Staff immediately to assist you in placing the code of your choice on your page. [Back to the top]

Joining Rules

1.You will keep your coding in place, and in a visible area of your site. Codes are checked regularly, and Members that abuse the system will not be tolerated.

2. Alert us of any Changes to your Information, or Site, or by updating your Profile within the Alliance.

3. Abide by all ONNA Rules and Regulations

3. Check to be sure the E-Mail address ( addresses ) are correct.

In closing, ONNA, Nativelandz, and those within the Alliance will not be held responsible for any damages, personal, or otherwise, for joining the Alliance. Nor will the mentioned be held responsible for changes or content of sites within.[Back to the top]Write Comment (0 comments)
